What You’ll Do

The Warehouse Manager will manage staff, foster a positive work environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper departmental operation. In addition to managing a team, the Warehouse Manager will also develop and implement short- and long-term plans to improve daily operations and contribute to the warehouse’s success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Manage receiving, processing and distribution operations in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Responsible for the daily overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience
Implement operational policies and procedures in accordance with the company’s guidelines
Ensure safe and effective use of warehouse equipment and staff Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain standards of health, hygiene, and safety. Requiring 100% adherence at all-times while on warehouse premise
Accountable for meeting and exceeding performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand while ensuring accuracy and upholding quality control standards
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities by producing daily and weekly reports and statistics on the operation
Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
In charge of proper training and development of warehouse staff, providing employees with the resources needed to perform their job duties
Coach and motivate employees through recognition and reward programs. Manage performance of employees by providing constructive feedback and taking disciplinary actions as needed
Perform duties as assigned by management which could include but are not limited to strategic planning and forecasting; identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks, deficiencies, and problems; and addressing staffing needs

What We Want From You:

Proven ability to manage teams of 7-10 
Strong decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
5+ years of proven work experience as a warehouse manager or similar
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
Lean Six Sigma knowledge/certification(s)
Knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives and deliver results
Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Proficient computer skills. Added plus for hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
